How to Stop Debt Collectors From Calling You, the Legal Way!

Here is an excellent way to stop debt collection companies from calling you.

According to this updated article from the FTC it states that as long as you have a dispute in writing, by law the debt collector must stop calling you until the dispute has been verified in writing.

So if you are trying to payoff any of your credit cards, loans or retail credit accounts you are protected from the annoying telephone calls!

Just be sure that you are in dispute with the creditor or credit reporting agency. How do you do that?

Call your creditors of any inconsistencies or inaccuracies and submit your dispute. The same goes for the credit reporting agencies. There are always inaccurate information that needs to be clean up because of the transfer of information from human error.

Read this short report for clarity on stopping your creditors from calling you:

Forced Savings...Soon to be a Law??

Would You Agree To A Law That Will Force You To Save??

That's news to me. I just read an article that soon a law will force employees to participate in forced savings.

What would you do if you are forced to save money for your future?

On the one hand it is a good idea, however, what if your income obligations cannot truly support the idea of a forced savings....

Again, this is a new law, what are your thoughts?

Check out the article....

New 401(k) Law Helps Companies Force Employees Into Saving

By author on Investing

Take a look at this article from Smart Money about a new law that will allow companies to set employees up for automatic contributions to their 401(k) accounts. It will also allow a company to automatically increase an employees contributions to a 401(k) each year up to a certain cap percentage.

How to Flood Your Pocket With Wads of Cash...the Easy Way!

...Well may be not wads of cash but definitely a significant savings, how?

Budgeting the household expenses can be such a drag. Feels almost like having a rope around your neck.

I've been budgeting seriously for about 2 years now and I have to say that it's actually working. I have cut back on lots of little things like buying snacks...especially those impulsive kinds of snacking.

I've cut out those expensive trips to Starbucks or Peets Coffee. (Going to those places is like shopping at a Cosco...have ever noticed they deliberately place all the snack junk towards the check out stand? So as you are waiting with your cart to pay, you're standing next to a big pallet of beef jerky or the special on your favorite chocolate candy!)

I digress...

But the reality to my success is actually cutting out all the small things...I've noticed that I have extra change, so I just put it away.

One of the biggest culprits in spending money is at the grocery store. Do you find yourself counting and adding how much you are spending? I do.

A couple of posts back I talked about buying in $30 units and that has helped me a lot.

I just read an interesting article about how this one person goes grocery shopping.

Check it out, I think you'll enjoy it:

Grocery Budget Undergoing Overhaul
By paidtwice
It is clear from the results of this month that the grocery budget needs an overhaul. Which actually, is understandable. My three year old eats more every day it seems, my 11 month old is starting to eat enough to actually add to our ..
